2010 Goal

Some people have resolutions for new years, but I have goals. Maybe they are kind of the same thing, but it makes me think of different ideals. For instance, a resolution someone might have is to lose weight, but a goal would be to lose 10 pounds. See the difference? Anyway, that isn't the point of this post.

The point of this post is to say that one of my super fun goals for 2010 is to read 50+ books. 50 is the minimum and if I hit that then I will be super happy. See, last year I put reading on the back burner for school and work, but now that I'm graduating in May, I will have a lot more time to do the things I want to do (which is not school).

50 books in 2010 ... who's with me?

Btw, I'm a crappy blogger lol.

  3. Yay, this will be fun! I just added my first book to my completed list: The Lightning Thief. Maybe I'll put a running list and total of how many books I'm up to for the year.

Rizki, welcome to the wonderful world of blogger! I hope that you will succeed in the 50+ books in 2010 along with the rest of us.

Rochelle, how about posting "reviews" of each book you read when you're finished? I'm going to try and do the same.

  4. I think it’s very interesting to make some review, telling the conclusion from self side after finished reading one book, I’ll try to follow your suggestion. I’ve follow your blog… thanks for visiting my blog even my blog is still empty like a savanna and most of the posted articles using Indonesian language. For the future I’ll try to posting in English.

  5. I'm really all for writing "reviews" about each book that we read because then, when other people read about what we have read, it will serve as a sort of broadening their horizons. For instance, I might not be off-the-bat interested in reading the book that you are, but after reading your review, I might be.

Don't feel as if you're required to write the review though. Only if you want.
